A proposal is the smallest event I play and often the one that takes the most planning. There is no run of show and no second take. The music has to arrive at exactly the right second, and then get out of the way.
We plan it around the setup and the surprise: where I am hidden, when I start, what plays during the walk in, and what plays after the yes. If there is a song that belongs to the two of you, that is the one I learn.
